I am having difficulty removing two of the four bolts and I think the heads are a little buggered up. I am driving a 1998 S70 n/a. Do you have any suggestions to help in removing these?
You'll have to take a Dremel with a small cutting wheel and cut a slot into the head of the bolt. Then use a screwdriver to back the bolt out. Have somebody hold a mirror so you can see what you're doing.

Hi Matty, I haven't been on the board in awhile, but belated thanks for the suggestion. My brother in law is a machinist, so he can handle a precision job like this, plus he works for beer. I am thinking a case of Yuengling will do it, but depending on the degree of difficulty, I may have to get him some Victory Festbier.

Thanks again!

Matt, I bought a rebuild from you last year for my 2000 C70. My vehicle was recently totaled and I am looking at a 2002. Does the 2002 C70 ABS module have the same issue or was it resolved before then? I just need to know if I need to use it in price negotiations.

The c70 uses that style of module up to 2004, so the 02 is going to have the same type as your 2000.

I seen in your post that you don't rebuilt any S80's. Any suggestions on a reliable site that will?

Hey Matt, I see your location is Ann Arbor. Are you willing to do the exchange in person? I don't live far from there, so I'd be willing to remove my module and drive to you if that's an option. Probably easier/cheaper/faster than shipping.
