Ive noticed when I get around 55-60 mph I get a vibration that I can feel in the steering wheel and in the floor board but only feel it at this speed. Ive had the front tires balance checked twice and there fine, ive recently replaced the inner and outer tie rods and front end alignment. Ive replaced the pass. side motor mount and ive noticed it seems to have a little less vibration when I accelerate going down the interstate and when I let off it feels worse. The only other thing I can think of, I notice a pretty good clunk when I put it in reverse but its always done that unless its getting worse ?? Also I have replaced both cv axles in the past few months.
Any other ideas where to check ?

If you are feeling it through the steering and not through the seat, I normally consider this to be a front end issue of the car.
You say you have had the wheels balanced. Again, at that speed I would think it is either a poor wheel balance or possibly a bent rim or damaged tire. Have you tried rotating your tires front to back to see if that makes a difference? Try one side first, then the other to help track it down if it is wheel/tire related.
When you say you have replaced the cv joints, did you replace the joints or the whole axle? If you replaced the axle(s) are they OE or good used OE? I made the stupid mistake of using EMPI aftermarket axles on my 850, and had a terrible vibration which I thought was the tranny slipping/failing. The cv boots failed very quickly, so as I was selling the car, I used a good used OE axle and all the vibration disappeared. Car ran smoother than ever.
Hope this helps.
Neil.

Its kind of a up and down feeling not a out of balance tire feeling. If that makes sense. At the speed above I can feel it in floorboard. The guy at the tire shop said he checked the balance on all four tires yesterday and they looked good and no bent wheels or bad tires he could see..
Ill try rotating the tires one side at a time, I think the vibration started after replacing the cv axles ( I replaced both entire axles ) so it may be that

Do you feel it when your foot is on or off the gas, or at either time?
The cheapo CV axles for this car have caused me lots of shaking under acceleration, especially at 70+ highway speeds.

Probably not the problem since you mentioned having checked balance, but my wife's car behaved this way when it threw a wheel weight. With the potholes I've seen around me this winter, I wouldn't rule out a bent rim.

I seem to feel it more when my foot is on the gas. I did purchase cheapo cv axles
. Im gonna try rotating the tires and if that doesn't fix it then i know its probably the cv axle just figuring out which one...

Sounds like a good plan, and will limit how much you have to spend. You may have had a wheel weight fall off, but by rotating one side, testing and then the other at least you may be able to isolate which wheel is at fault. You can also utilise your spare wheel (if full size) if you feel one wheel may be suspect. Unfortunately, jblackburn is likely correct (as I also said) that cheap aftermarket axles are very hit or miss. I'd rather use a good sound used part than an aftermarket. Usually means you only have to do the job once.
I'm hoping it is just a wheel problem!

Really sounds like a balance issue/ tire issue. Some cheaper tires will simulate a balance issue when worn 50% or so. Not damaged tires per se. Just how they age. Did this start after a rotation?

Stick to your plan and let us know how you get on. That will give you piece of mind if you get no change, it is not the wheels and tires, but poor quality axles.
