Over the last few days I did the rest of my stage 0 (IPD plug wires, new copper plugs gapped at .025 (per Lucky), fuel filter, cap and rotor, and drove down to have Lucky do a very nice Green Tune on my R.
All I have to say is wow! It is an amazing difference and I cant wait to put some miles on it. Lucky is an amazing guy to talk to so if you haven't done it yet you should. He also mentioned an increase in MPG so I am excited to see that. I am tired of seeing 19.5mpg on my digital read out even though I drive mostly freeway.
I kept fighting with myself to either keep it all stock or start modding and then tax returns came. I am not sure where I will go next; down pipe, intercooler, etc? I am sure my wife wont be happy haha.

ARD, that would be the person who had posted the "Fast-Fridays" series. Lucky is what they call him owns the company ARD.
I had just picked up a "white" tune from its original owner on e-bay.
I believe Lucky has his website in the signature on Fast-Fridays.

Lucky wrote almost a year's worth of Fast Fridays here. He quite possibly knows more about making P80 and P2 model Volvos go faster than anyone on Earth.

Thanks. Also, I assume it would be more benificial to make hardware modifications, then get a tune? For example, I would be better off putting a better exhaust system and a better turbo on my car before getting the tune - as opposed to tuning the ECU of a stock car? Would there even be any benifit of tuning the ECU of a stock car?

No, from a sheer dollar-per-hp angle. Chips do more per $ than anything.
ARD I believe will reflash your ARD tune as you upgrade components. Check with Lucky.
Disclaimer: I don't make any fee from referring anyone to Lucky, or any tuners for that matter.

Looking at the options and my car (2000 V70R), maybe only a tune is best. I'm not looking to make it into a full-blown race car, only to make it more peppy for daily driving. Since it is a 'R', it already has the green injectors and high pressure turbo. I think going with the custom 650cc or 750cc injectors would be money better spent elsewhere, and the ARD website says the high-flow fuel pump will not fit the AWD (thats what mine is).
