Anyone had any luck replacing the high pressure hose for the power steering system? I'm worried about fluid leaking onto the timing belt/alternator since the pump is nearby. I suppose I could just cover it with rags/plastic (once cooled). Is it simply a matter of clamping the hose, unscrewing it, putting the new one in, and flushing the system?
I also noticed an oil leak coming from my solenoid. I threw a P0013 code a few weeks ago, but it later turned off. Given the previous code, is it safe to assume I should just replace the whole thing and the gasket?
Any insight appreciated!

Update: I replaced the solenoid and gasket. Couldn't really tell whether the solenoid was leaking or not, but went ahead and replaced it anyway.
After replacing the gasket on my oil cap, I'm now thinking I may need to replace the breather hose on top of the engine because there was still a small amount of oil leaking toward the middle of the engine block. Fun times.

If you see leaks around the oil filler cap and breather, you may want to check the condition of the PCV system.
Example of Precision: Measure with a Micrometer, mark it with Chalk, and then cut it with an Axe.
