Here's my trouble and what I have done to trouble shoot so far from what I have searched and found on this site…..
Leaving work yesterday the drivers side headlight went out, and I have the dim light warning on the dash. Both high beams work. As what usually happens with a car I went to the shop and picked up bulbs and fuses. Replaced bulbs, no dice…. fuses, no dice. Searched the net for problems, pulled the CEM down and checked the "shunt" area for burn marks, even though it's just one side and that wasn't it. Got out the multimeter and checked for power under the hood at the fuse location, no power to the drivers side but power to the passenger side. Went to the dash and have power there (figured so since the passenger side works). Went back to the CEM and switched the left and right relays and the passenger still works but not the drivers (rechecked fuses and current at fuse location with no change). I do have power getting to the CEM at that slot, so I'm really stumped. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
