For the airtool-less, an inexpensive AC impact wrench is your best bang/buck for suspension work. I saw one at Harbor Freight for $58 a month ago. I have a non-HF unit, and it helps control arm, axle jobs, etc. go quickly.
I bought relatively expensive Ingersoll Rand impact socket sets, one normal, one deep, to pair with it.
