My driver side low beam bulb went out a few weeks ago. I carefully replaced it. Worked fine for a few days. Now when I start the car the beam is out. While car is on I open and jiggle the connector and it comes on. I SLAM the hood and drive for a while (in case loose connector). Stays on.
Turn the car off then back on and same thing... Bulb failure message, light is really out, I jiggle and it works.
Ideas?

Seems like a bad connection... Maybe not at the light itself though?

Hey I fixed it - I just took some pliers and crimped the bulb connector tighter (first try I did while the car was on and shorted it and blew a fuse *facepalm*). After that problem went away. Very odd that it would always stay on while driving and only go out and need rejiggling after starting thought. Must have something to do with the way the lights are "booted".
