1993 850 Sun roof is leaking.

Is their a way to adjust the rails so the sun roof can have a tighter seal?
I hope so for my next move may be to seal the sun roof with caulking.

Well, the sunroof is not designed to seal water out, water should seep in past the seal and drain out if the tracks/drain tubes. If you are getting water drip in either your seal is bad, leaking between the seal and glass, or your drains are clogged.

There is another possibility. The plastic drain tubes can split. I had it happen near the sunroof, where the plastic drain tubes meet the sunroof drain pan. Only way in is to remove the headlining....
There are 4 drains, 1 at each corner.

You could check by opening the sunroof and carefully poring water into each drain and see if it leaks out of the headlining close to the drains.

There is another possibility worth checking. If your drain tubes are clear and not split/cracked, it sould be you windshield seal has failed. Again had this problem with one of our V70's.

If it is the glass seal, you will see it dripping off of the corner of the glass and on to your head. The corners should miss you while dripping.
