1995 850 turbo broken piece on head where cam rides

Post by chris4256 »

Hey guys need some help quick. I removed the cam cover and cams and my buddy pulled too hard on the cam and broke of a piece of aluminum. Not sure if I should change the head or just run it. My phone won't let me upload the pictures. I could text them to anyone who could help.

Send me a PM if you want to text real quick.

It is common to break the little slot where the cam guide sits in the head (unfortunately). Usually it is OK to just run it. Certainly worth trying unless it is a really bad break and the cam will not sit right.
