2006 XC70 Front grille

I plan to replace the front grille due to damage. Are all the grilles for 2001-2006 the same or interchangeable? I know there are different part numbers listed, but I'm curious if a 2001-2004 would (there is a used one available locally) fit a 2006. For some reason front grilles are hard to come by, although most XC70's I seen in parts yards have been stuffed at the front end.

Since I need to replace a 2003 grille, subscribed. It would be fun to update with a later grille.

Bad news is the 2001-2004 do not fit. They are physically smaller than the 2005-2007 unfortunately. Spoke to my favorite Volvo used part supplier and they educated me on the grille. Shame as there is a 2001-4 grille for sale on Kijiji here in Calgary.
