As long as your car supports ODBII, you shouldn't have any problem with the ELM.

Your '95 should have both OBD I under the hood and OBD II in the console.
The Bluetooth transmitter should be fine in the OBD II port. The hard wired ELM USB should also work.

I bought both because they really are inexpensive as compared to the other readers.

for I-Phone.
Ben850, you mentioned HUD for the torque app. What's involved with that? Add'l hardware etc? I'd like to give that a shot. For what it's worth, Tracfone now has Android phones. I haven't gotten one yet but for those not wanting exorbitant cell phone bills it is a good option. I've used cheapo Tracfone flip phone for eons and always had good coverage. I do not live and die for my cell though and it lives in my pocket.

The HUD seems to work at night while facing the Galaxy upward on the dash.
I really only tried it once and it seems to be more of a distraction.

The real time display is good with it mounted on an arm stuck to the window. You can pick which items you would like to monitor.

I just got the Torque app (thanks for the cheap $7 adapter china).

This torque thing is pretty cool. Now I need to figure out how to use effectively and not as a toy. Any suggestions on which data to use/watch besides waiting for a code?

Fuel trim and O2 sensor fluctuation. I'm sure there's more good stuff to watch but these two would directly affect how the engine controls are functioning. Intake air temp too since you got an R.
