Quick clarification
I estimate that my tank fills up to about 17 gallons or at least my gauge always reads one gallon less than I have because before I started all this I would be at 100 miles when the needle was spot on the 12 gallon mark and averaging 20 mpg. So by my estimation my gas gauge is about 5 gallons from full to 12 gallons left.

Hi:
Did replacing the front o2 sensor fix your problem.

I think the biggest help was replacing the bad thermostat and coolant temp sensor
but yet the O2 sensor being replaced did improve my MPG by 1 or 2 (5-10%)
