Hi,
I've owned a '93 940; got close to 300,000 miles, and currently drive a 2000 XC with 205,000 miles. [And yes, I've suffered through a lot of problems, but the car was a gift from my best friend.]
I came across a 2008 XC90, 8 cyl. with 70,000 miles, for sale by the original owner; very anxious to sell. I can't really afford this car but am thinking that I might be able to make a profit if I can buy it right; do some cosmetics, new tires, etc. and list it properly.
Would any of you care to comment on what would be a great price; what to look out for; what maintenance is coming due, etc.? The car is in PA. The owner had to move to CO for work and I'm told that she is very motivated to sell, or after Memorial Day she'll let it go to auction.
I will appreciate any advice.
Thanks,
Don
