1996 855 20v(auto transmission) will not spin

So im wondering if anyone else have had this car and if they managed to get the car to spin without using tricks like throwing weight in the back or throwing oil on the tires etc. If i for example stand completely still and take my handbrake all the way up and knock the pedal to the metal then the car goes forward(slowly) but it will not spin, not even a little.

If i turn while accelerating without hitting the e-brake it will spin easy... but it wont if i just want to do it while going forward. Any advice's? is it possible?

Not sure why you would want to do this, but by spin, I'm guessing you mean spin the front tires to smoke them, or do you mean to spin the whole car around?

Putting the parking brake on only affects the rear wheels, and if you are trying to spin the front wheels it shouldn't really affect it. I can only suggest the auto box and differential are fighting to prevent wheel spin. You would have more luck with a manual/stick shift (I could do it too easily with my 98 V70 T5 wagon).

Spin the wheels to smoke them, yeah. Doing it for fun(And show) maybe?

My dads 855 t5 can do it as well(auto) but mine dosent even seem to try.

If you don't mind breaking the transmission, neutral drop is what you're looking for.
