got the black carpet in and rear seats all black. Looks great. front black seats going in soon and have half the dash switches in.Closing in one it. Lost a few days cleaning the antifreeze, soda and coffee mess under the rug in the foam sound proofing. What a mess...
got the dash in but no climate control (no power to it) and no dash lites. Tried replugging the big plugs on the left side of the lower dash but notta. Any ideas?
That's the ubiquitous 5 speed dash failure and it means you should give your car away to someone in NY..
Electricals (from memory)
Big connector on left under dash
Big connector on right in front of glove box
ELectronic climate control has 2 connectors that need to be firmly into the front of the ECC control unit.
Make sure you are fully seating all these connectors and closing the connector latch. The electrical hardware on these cars is very high quality stuff, btw.
