1994 940 turbo Stalls when touch gas pedal

Car starts up great. Suddenly one day it stalled when I hit the gas to back out of driveway. Engine quits like a light as soon as I touch the gas pedal.
Put in new in tank fuel pump. The strainer had crumbled so I put a new one of those on as well. Also changed the fuel filter. Got a new noise suppression relay as testing it, seemed to work only intermittently. Car started up and ran great like new.... For a day. Now it is doing the same thing as before and is even harder to get started.
I've checked all fuses and they're all good. Both pumps are running, I cam hear them. I don't have a fuel pressure tester... Maybe I need one?

Any advice please? I'm not that experienced but this is really consuming my life I need my car back.
