Electronic Throttle Control (aka.. ETM, ETS, ETC)

I've recently had to replace my Electronic Throttle Control (ETM/ETC) on my 2000 V70 Non-Turbo Wagon. 96000 miles, family owned since new.

The ETS light had been coming on intermittently for some time and then pretty much continually.
I had three different shops tell me the unit was going.
I used an outside shop, one of the three, to get the job done.

For obvious reasons disappointed with Volvo's product.
I would say the V70 is a "good" car, but not a great car, as are my other tow daily drivers.
