5/19/2014 - replaced fuel and air filter. Bosch fuel filter and Mann air filter.

5/20/2014 - muffler shop welded in new pipe with o2 bung between cat and muffler. Replaced rear o2 sensor with new Bosch sensor. Performed hard reset to ECU.

5/22/2014 - Glove box would not open. I tried unsuccessfully to fabricate a tool similar to the one the tech offers on youtube for $40 to jimmy the latch. Finally opted for the hack saw method that Ozark Lee described. Replaced all glove box hardware with donor parts from pick and pull. Turned out well except for some minor scuff marks on the dash pad.

6-10-2014, Park brake adjustment issue - Shoes binding during and after adjusting, R/R shoe retaining clips and adjuster springs. Oiled cable linkages. No kinks or cracks noted on the cables. Shoes adjusted without binding. Will re-adjust in a couple of weeks.

7/13/2014, removed Volvo intermittent wiper delay relay and replaced with the VW "99" relay.

9-11-2014, R/R Windshield with Saint Gobain Sekurit glass - $185 installed. I believe that Pilkington is the OEM brand for the 850/S70 models.

Installed S70 style side trim strips with the rain channel. Thanks to RSPI for that suggestion.

12/5/2014 - Purchased 4 new 16" Volvo steel rims. Dealer mounted and balanced 4 studded snows. Bad shake like a bent rim. Returned to dealer, they hammered the damaged rim and put the tire on the rear. This just masked the problem, as it is much better, but the shake is still there. Dealer ordering a new rim. I was pleasantly surprised as I figured they wouldn't warranty it saying I must have hit a pot hole or something.

R/R right wheel bearing Assy with FAG part from FCP. R/R control arm with Meyle part from FCP. R/R stabilizer rod with Lemforder part from FCP.
