My power steering was getting a bit tight so I checked and the level was a bit low. I decided to turkey baster all the fluid out of the reservoir and replace. Feels much better now. Here are my questions:
1. My 2004 xc70 user manual says to use chf11s and Pentosin website said chf202. I used chf202. Is that O.K.?
2. I'm thinking I must have a small leak somewhere. Is there a liquid leak stopper that is safe to use in this system?
Thanks

The 202 was the replacement for 11S. The leaks usually develop at the reservoir hoses, at the steering pump hoses or wheel shaft, or at the the steering rack outer seals, inside the inner tie rod boots (water gets past when the boots rip or the clamp is weak or the original metal clamp is replaced with plastic zip ties. The steering rack starts to rust and it damages the seals. When the seals start leaking there is p/s fluid inside the boots. You can remove the tie rod boots and look inside, and use some wire brush to clean the rust hoping the seals are not too damaged. The boots need Oetiker clamps.)
