Dolby processor in an S70 - removal?

I've got a '98 S70 with the premium sound -- SC-901, under-seat amp, Dolby, center channel. If I want to remove the Dolby processing by disconnecting it, is there going to be any repercussion to that if I don't have the HU in Pro Logic mode?
