2000 V70 adapter install questions

Post by NSFWaldo »

Im getting some adapters for my 2000 v70 to put some corvette sawblades on it, however the issue has arisen of the stock lugbolts and the thickness of the adapter. I'm doing at least a 20mm thick adapter. the head of the stock lug bolt is way more than that and will stick out and hit the wheel. the IPD lug stud conversion kit will also stick out too far and hit the wheel. Im thinking mybest bet is either to grind the head of the bolt down a bit to make it the right height or find some aftermarket ones that will be small enough, OR find at a hardware store or something the proper stud but in a smaller size or something. I'm kind of stuck in a rut here. Any input from MVS?

I'd call Tire Rack 1-888-541-1777 and throw the question at them. Same with my sponsors iPD 800.444.6473 or 503-257-7500, FCP (877) 634-0063, and eEuroparts (800) 467-9769.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

I think I've got it figured out from adaptec. I should've contacted them before i posted but just thought of it afterwards. they said they could provide me with the right ones if i ordered from them. Thanks so much Matthew! It appears this thread can be deleted now since I answered my own question. haha
