Volvo 850 Transmission flush

Finally got around to flushing my tranny fluid. Purchased
12 quarts of dex III
1 seafoam trans tune
1 lucas oil transmission stop leak

I actually cut a line from a car in the salvage yard to complete the loop.

Does it pump out in PARK or do you need to put it in a gear?

That is some nasty looking stuff. How many miles on the car and have you ever flushed it before?

@ rspi ... Fluid starts pumping out when vehicle is on in park. Vehicle has about 236k miles. Just bought the vehicle and never got around to doing the tranny flush. As you can see, it was much needed. The Lucas oil stop leak tranny stabilizer really smooths the shifting now

How can you know if it was the Lucas or the Sea foam that smoothed out the shifting?

Cool, so many people are afraid of a straight up fluid purge/change. Let us know if you have any issues with the tranny within 25,000 miles.

@ loub... I have a poly bushings in my torque mount. I can literally feel the tranny shifting right under my drivers seat. I don't know, but i can feel.
