Hello ,
I am hoping you can help me with my 1994 Volvo 940 wagon non turbo. I have had some issues of late that started after I slid off the road back in Jan. For whatever reason I left my 940 to sit for 4 months before repairs. The repairs were replacing driver side s need a new control arm, strut and spindle. After getting the 940 returned to me, with in one week it started to need a jump every time I started the car. Easy! 7 year old battery, now replaced. One week later the cooling fan motor burned up. Headed out to pull-a-part and replaced it. Later same day over heated. I had overlooked where the wires had been spliced and needed repaired, so I fixed the wires and cooling fan worked fine. I did a flush and drain on the antifreeze just to be safe. No problems, but then out of nowhere, the AC just stopped blowing air in the car today. When I went to lunch was OK no problems, when I left at end of day to go home No air flow at all. I am just wondering if there is not a bigger electrical problem going on here and if all the problems are connected? If so , or not, what should I be looking for this time?
Thanks
David in Louisville KY

Cabin Fan Motor - Check fuse?
Cooling Fan Motor - If previously used daily in traffic, they fail, but who screwed with the wiring?
Overheated - Not good...head gasket may be next
Wiring - Trace out "supply wires" to fuses to see if corrosion/etc exists at both ends, or if mice have chewed into them

no air flow or blower runs but no air out of dash vents but air out of defrost and through the floor vents?
The doors directing air flow on that car are vacuum operated and an issue with the hose from intake manifold through firewall by heater hoses or leaks in diaphragms on heat/air case will caause no air out dash vents what seems to be no air from system (unless you check for the air from other vents).
