When I have my car washed by a system that pushes the car along and a green light tells you when it's safe to drive away, my car always gets stuck in Neutral.
The only solution I've found is braking and shifting toward park and then back down to drive. This seems like a problem as braking will "fight" the car wash pushing mechanism. Is this normal?
If I coast down a highway hill in Neutral for an extended period of time will the car get stuck in Neutral?
I tested a short coast in Neutral and I was able to shift back into drive without any problem.
