So it would appear that after my complete tune-up (these cars are really easy to work on compared to old Mercedes!) my next project is figuring out why the passenger side AC blows hot no matter the temperature setting on my auto climate control. This all started after my young son decided to play with the climate controls yesterday. I assume it's the linkage to the doors for the vents. Any diagrams around to show where that is? Dash have to come off to fix it?
I had this problem briefly after I bought the car and I used the defrost setting, but after cycling through all the vent settings with the knob it worked fine.

For an Electronic Climate Control system, the damper motor is separate for the two sides on the 1998. I believe you can get to that motor by taking out the glove box but not removing the dash.
There was a mid model year break in 1999 when the two motors went to a single more complicated linkage that I hope never breaks...
Junior is probably not to blame for this, but Father Time is.

Ha! I imagine you are right! It just seems to have occurred after he was fiddling with things. I will take a look and see what I can find in regards to the damper motor.
Thanks for the help!
