Last fall I parked the 855 for winter, as usual. After a few maintenance updates just cranked it up and the lifter clash has me worried.
I let it idle until it warmed up. The clash declined a bit but after 10 minutes is still pretty noisy.
I didn't change the oil b/c it didn't look too bad and is full synthetic w/o too many miles on it. But I'm wondering if some sludge might have settled around the pickup tube.
Does this call for Sea Foam or some other solvent?
96 850 n/a clashing lifters after storage: Seafoam?
