Used one owner 98 v70 value?
Found a really clean v70 base with only 94k. Timing belt, water pump and everything done at 80k. New tires also. Guy wants 3500 for it... Seems tad on high side. What do you guys think??

If it's really nice, that's fair

I would argue that the price is low.
Last year, I sold privately a 1999 V70 XC with 156K TB, new DS and basically "restored" for $4700.
This past week, I sold privately a 2000 V70 XC with 155K new TB, DS, tires and non working AC for $4600.
This week, I purchased a 1999 V70 XC with 153K for $2900 out the door with taxes and title $3400 local dealer trade needing a few things but in very good condition overall including new Tbelt, new struts, all maint items done but with SRS light and ETS light on, and three non-working door lock actuators.

The '98 V70 is very desirable because it was pre-electronic throttle and had single coil ignition making it cheap and easy to work on. Considering the value of the already performed maintenance and the new tires, it seems like a fair price.

Finding a p80 car under 100k is going to get harder and harder.
Other than the horrible original ETM, I prefer the 99 on for the better ignition and much better PCV system with coolant heating to keep it clear. The Xmodex guys have made the ETM problem much more palatable.
IMHO, the seller will find a 3500 usd buyer in short time.

Reset that SRS yourself and drive it. That's a good price.
