2003 XC70 EVAP Leak, Very Small
2003 XC70 EVAP Leak, Very Small
Hello to all my Volvo constituents. I absolutely love my 03 XC70. I have had it ever since I drove it off the showroom floor in Gothenburg Sweden and wouldn't trade it for anything. I have been able to do some pretty intense repairs to it my self to include replacing the A/C compressor. But, now, I have an issue that is kicking my but. I have a very small EVAP leak and I can't find where it is. I have checked the gas cap and that isn't the issue. Any advice from any of my Volvo peeps out there?

The worst offenders at 10+ years of age are cracked lines; just change the famous J-hose and the small flex lines at purge solenoid, one to intake and another one to canister. The next suspects will be the brake booster hose and the grommet at the angle connector.
Example of Precision: Measure with a Micrometer, mark it with Chalk, and then cut it with an Axe.
