I liked the C30 when they first came out. I was driving a Boxster at the time. I traded in my Boxster for a 2011 Ford Edge. I liked the Edge and really utilized the SUV aspect but missed the sports car feel and direct connection with the vehicle and road. When I read the C30 was being discontinued I decided I had to get one. I searched the entire country for a manual and bingo. I found one in Portland.

I am the second owner. I purchased it in August of 2013 as a Certified Used Vehicle from Jim Fisher Volvo in Portland, OR. They said they sold it and bought it back from the original owner when their work was taking them out of the country. Looks like the car spent most its time in Santa Monica. I was told it belonged to the college age daughter who had graduated.

I flew into Portland and drove it drove it down to my home in San Diego. A very fun, getting-to-know-you, 1,100 mile drive. Two days through winding mountain highways of Oregon and northern California, across the wide open farm belt of the California interior, then the grind through LA traffic and on down the coast to sunny San Diego.

I really enjoy the car but the more I drive it the more I realize I need an SUV. So I'm selling it. I was going to wait for the new XC90 to come out but I'm not going to wait any longer. I drove some XC60's this weekend and need to move the C30 before I buy new. The car has been well cared, always dealer serviced and has a lot left on the warranty. $20,500 is my break even point. I won't dip below it.

Let me know what you think.
