...and the war rages, passenger side bushing installed. It took the Sawzall to get the old one out

I wish you hadn't said "Scan Tech" -- universally condemned aftermarket parts on here for being cheap Chinese junk. No experience with their delta links (thankfully) but plenty of unflattering remarks on here for their other parts. Hope you have good luck with yours.

In my defense, the delta links were bought in 2010 and the bushing was bought in 2006! The Pro Parts left-side bushing I just got today from FCP was made in South Korea if that's any better

I stand corrected. If Lee gave them a thumbs up, they'll probably be just fine. Stay away from the door checks, though.

The battle rages on...

I tackled the driver's side today after work. All in all, the delta link went well. I think it would've came out with just the puller, but I burned it just to make it smoother, plus I had the torch and fire extinguisher all ready anyways...out and in took about an hour.

The problems blindsided me. I needed to remove the IPD sway bar to access the bolt that attaches the busted bushing to the trailing arm. The "easy side" would only let go after soaking in Kroil and a serious beat down with a 3# hammer. New hardware had to be ordered from IPD and I'll have to take the rear sway bar to work and drill out the frozen bottom bolt in the pic, which had to be cut off with the Sawzall

Image

Then there was the broken bushing. What a battle. The Sawzall was once again employed. The bolt that attaches it was frozen in the metal sleeve that's molded into the bushing. It took all my impact wrench had to drive it out...
