Re: 96 850T trailing arm link replacement round 1...Failure

Well, today went nowhere fast.

I was poised to install the driver's side trailing arm bushing (which I THOUGHT had arrived from FCP the day previous) and was ready to take the car off the jack stands...

FCP sent me the wrong bushing

They're sending me the correct one, and apologized for the mistake. Just another glitch in this ongoing saga.......

Driver's side bushing arrived and is now installed. Re-installing the IPD sway bar was a challenge. I had to disconnect the K&R exhaust at the band clamp to get it into the trailing arm, and it needed some BFH persuasion at that!

All I need now is a 4 wheel alignment and I can call it DONE!

I can confirm - that is the one, and only, Scan Tech item that I have ever purchased that actually worked for more than 20,000 miles. This applies only to the end links, I have never used their bushings.

It was kinda funny, I called eEuroparts before I bought them and asked for an opinion. The response was, "That is one thing from Scan Tech that people don't seem to bitch about."
