96 850 can this brake master cylinder still be used?

96 850 can this brake master cylinder still be used?

The master cylinder looks newish. Somebody pulled the tank off, breaking the neoprene lugs that are held by a pin that goes through the cylinder body. They didn't break off, are just split at the bottom. Is the tank useable? would it just pop out under braking pressure?
