1999 V70 Retractable Nylon Safety Luggage Cargo Net Removal?

Just purchased "new" 1999 V70. Weeeee.

Trying to pick the retractable safety/cargo/luggage net out of a junked V70 and just can't figure it out. I've looked at a couple of instruction sites, but nothing is clicking with what I saw in the junkyard today. I spent over an hour in that car trying to get those nets out to no avail. Maybe I was being too gentle in my efforts to not break them?

Does anyone have a video of how this is done?

Here's the one site that seemed the most complete, but the back assembly that he shows as "sliding" over did not slide in the car I was in today...

The dog would much appreciate any help/advice as she has not ridden with her human since the V70 appeared in the driveway (nails on pristine leather - haha doggie).

That net won't stop a dog...
Look into the optional metal doggy jail.
Much stouter and made for the job.

1+ Find the metal cage.

I have a set of the nets you are welcome to if you'd like. Shipping would be about $20 I guess.

Would love that if it's complete. By that I mean do they include the pins that hold them in place in the space. Hope that makes sense. Thanks!

It's just a little beagle dog that just needs a deterrent. Not a big determined lab or anything.

Oh and rspi- I have a driver's sun visor, gray as well as a gray armrest cover. Both fresh picked from a 98 S 70 and all cleaned up. Would be glad to trade one if you need either.
