1998 S70 GLT ABS Control Module Compatibility

I have 98 S70 GLT that has the classic symptom of the ABS and TRAC warning lights coming on and going off. Being a cheap skate, I went to a local junkyard and got a control unit from a '00 S70 GLT. When I removed my unit I noticed that there are significant internal differences between the two modules.

My unit Part# 9162675 "CONTROL UNIT TRAC 2/4 WD" has 7 coils
Junk Yard unit Part# 9472971 "CONTROL UNIT /STC" has 10 coils

The 7 coils on my unit align with 7 of the 10 on the Junk Yard unit.

Is it possible that I can get away with using the Junk Yard unit?

96-98 are all the same, then 99-00 are different; in all these years of people dealing with their failed ABS modules I have never heard of someone pulling off that swap. I would say 99.95% chance it will not work.

It doesn't have to be from a 98, any 96-98 Tracs module will do. If you don't care about having Tracs, which wouldn't be missing much, then you can also use any 96-98 non-traction module.
