Gang -- It's been about 35,000 miles since I've done an ignition tune-up -- plugs, rotor, distributor cap and plug wires.

Should I be thinking about doing one right about now?

I haven't noticed any decrease in performance, although mileage may be down a smidgen.

It can never hurt but that is a bit soon on the cap, rotor and wires. Depending on what spark plugs you run they might be due. The Bosch coppers are about done, or at least ready to be re-gapped, by about 35,000 miles.

Worst case, plugs but the rest has a ways to go, especially wires if Bougicord. Check cap for tracking but they last a while too.

This is what I know.

Bougicord ---> every 140K-150K or so.
Bosch cap/rotor ---> every 50K or so

Spark Plugs:
- Bosch Copper ---> every 25K
- I use NGK Iridium ---> every 90K-100K..
2004 V70 2.5T 100K+
2005 XC90 2.5T 110K+
