I am down to my last day before a needed tow to clear my buddy's garage.

my exact codes.

1171 corresponds to volvo code ecm-261a and 1174 corresponds to ecm-260a. these are both upper limit faults.

according to vadis, potential causes could be the following;

intake air leak - could be...exhaust air leak - could be.....low fuel pressure - don't think so, I feel like I have good pressurefaulty heat o2 sensor - no idea, would this cause a no start?

If that air induction hose is all crappy and holed, that could be your problem. Unmetered air leaking in past the MAF will totally kill drivability. I would use the time to take that off, clean it, and inspect for leaks
