Win 8 is fine. I have the virtual XP install on our Win 8 laptop as well as 2 other PCs. The virtual setup can be shut down like any OS. Once you do this you can allocate more RAM to use for the image in VM Ware settings. The default setting on the image is only 512MB I set mine to around 800MB and is slow however I don't want it to impede other programs.

I have B4 Servo task ahead on 2001 V70XC with 151,000 miles.
Flares down to 2nd when it should be going to 4th at close to 4000RPM after transmission fluid is hot - more than an hour of casual driving.

I ordered another 2 EU-702s for customers in the last 4 weeks. Zero problems and both arrived by DHL with tracking provided.

The B4 servo improves a 2-3 upshift. You may need to look at solenoids.

Added bonus with the eu702, you can load up all of the manufacturers files on it and scan just about anything. I have everything on mine but Mercedes.

Question regarding these aftermarket VIDA devices. Would I be able to re-program/mate a replacement/used ETM to my '04 V70 with one, or do I need a supported copy?

Is the V70 a turbo or non turbo? If turbo there is no programming required on the Bosch units which are called an ETA. Just clear codes and turn ignition to Pos II for 40 secs.

If it's a non turbo you have a Hitachi unit which was fitted only on years 2003 and 2004.
