Long time lurker and a few posts for my other Volvo's but yesterday I picked up my newest toy being a June 94 940 Wagon/Estate.
Old faithful daily driver is an 89 740 Wagon which has served us well and depite the best bits both IPD and eEuroparts could supply it is now time to give her a long overdue driveline refurb and some bodywork as well.
With this in mind I picked up a 1999 V40T (Low blow Turbo) a few years ago to upgrade the daily driver and although its a great car to drive its a real PITA to keep reliable so I put it off the road last week with the view that id spend some time sorting out its gremlins and eventually sell or re register the car as it too has a heap of replacement bits compliments if IPD and eEuroparts.
I also have a mid 80's 240 wagon (K jet) that is my Ute/Pickup project and will eventually get a 5.0 Windsor engine or a 305 TPI Chev engine.
I've had a lot of Volvo's over the years from 142's to 265's and more than a few 244/245's so I came to realise that Red Blocks rule hence my purchase of the 945 GLE yesterday.
So now I have to sort the thing out for its roadworthiness cert (MOT) and so a new Volvo project begins.
Of course some piccies are in order, Because everybody loves Piccies!
