I saw that but my browser did not match with a name - In arizona it is illegal for anyone with a dealers license to represent as FSBO, Unless the vehicle is their personal (titled to them personally) they must show and conduct the sale at their place of business. I do work with several independent dealerships, and one of the tricks I have seen is if they cant move a car through the auction without taking a loss they will title it to themselves personally for a few months, then try to FSBO it. Although this process is not illegal unless they sell more than 4 cars this way in a year; Arizona law also provides that a dealer or its designee can drive dealer cars for personal use without consequence; raising the question of why they titled it to themselves for such a short time...I believe the same is true out in Cali, and would be surprised if its much different in TX.
Check it out for the T5 experience, but other than that I am seeing a lot of red flags - people like this are what put and keep me in business - I hate scum

In Oz we have a LMCT (licensed motor car trader) license if you want to sell more than 3 vehicles per annum. You can have this license on a home address and you don't need a car lot. Most sellers in Oz on eBay don't misrepresent as cars being their own. I would have thought a professional seller would clean up those carpet mats; they look like a dog puked on them or something

Okay, guess I will pass on looking at this one (dog puke carpets)
In TX there are many cars on CL listed as FSBO without tags, or with the dead-giveaway intersecting-vacuum-trails on the carpets and armor-alled engine compartments. But this is TX--a wheeler-dealer state not known to be bound by mere civilized law where you occasionally see the bumper sticker "Thank You For Not Shooting."

As resolution to this thread, I called and left a message to look at this car on the 28th and the seller did not return my call. Seller had been relisting every day but did not after the 28th = sold. I was not overly enthusiastic, but my BIL got all jazzed and offered quick cash for purchase and to drive it home for me and fly back to Houston (airline employee privileges). He was more disappointed than I was.
For those with sporting blood, here is an '05 V70 R w/6 speed manual in Austin. High mileage and high price, but nonetheless, a vehicle of interest.

Is 9000 USD for a 2005 T5R with 190,000 miles a realistic price or is that dreaming?

It's been for sale for a couple of months--just waiting for a stick shift driver.
When these first came out, I happened upon a V70R in a parking lot--black metallic with sort of pumpkin colored leather interior. My wife had to drag me away because I was drooling all over it.

I'm a stick shift fanatic and its about 2x overpriced for me, and inspection usually drops, not raises the price.
Ok, NADA clean retail 9400, trade 5700
Fair private price is thus 7500 less needed work parts plus labor.
