I know many of you use http://www.thevolvopartsstore.com, as do I, but they are closed until October 1st and will reopen in Overland Park, KS, without Hendricks affiliation.

I have no idea what that means for the parts business.

Sounds like the dealer went through a sale and Rick Hendricks LLC no longer is the owner. Typical for them to stop some business activity to get the final tally on assets and liabilities to let the sale close on the last day of the month and in this case the fiscal year too.
What it means for the parts biz with a new owner would be a wild guess.

I have been using the same supplier (Hendricks Volvo in KC) for a while now.

Another good choice is the Volvo dealer in Lisle IL (Chicago suburb), pricing is good:

Although Tasca in RI has fairly high shipping charges, the prices are pretty good. I live in RI and they let me ship to their warehouse for bigger parts or quicker service for free. Be sure to check Ebay because Tasca sells there too and shipping is sometimes free. Big orders are still better served through FCP for the most part.
