02 C70 Slow Fuel Fill Issue

Post by RSM-GA »

I have an 02 C70 HPT Coupe that it recently just started giving me a problem when filling up. I can only put in about 50 cents before the nozzle shuts off. I have tried to "blow out" the vent tube without any success. Any help here would be appreciated as I drive 90 miles a day to and from work and slow filling like this is a problem!

Thanks
Rob

Pull the nozzle out just a tiny bit, it should help.

You need to replace the rollover valve.

Before you replace anything check to see if spiders, dirt wasps, or something else has built a nest and obstructed to the vent. The vent is at the end of the black hard plastic line tied to filler pipe behind RR wheel housing inside quarter panel. Access from under car.

Do I just take of the round cylinder thing (looks like a small filter)?

Where is the rollover valve located?
Is that an involved process?
