Hello,
Two days ego when I started the car I heard cylinder head valve is knocking. I decided to ride. After one hour drive I hear loud noise from the engine. It occur when the engine is under load when I am accelerating slowly and the engine is at approx 1600 rpm. It does not happen when the car is idle. The engine is running very well and smoothly but then at 1600 rpm it is staring to work like old diesel. It is rattling knocking and have lack of power. Above those rpm is again very smooth. It has some sort of resonance at 1600.
The noise is coming from in side the engine. How and what can make such noise?
What is the problem?

How old the timing belt is?
I had a similar noise when a head valve started to stick (fixed by itself shortly after). It actually happened when I turned the key to start the engine from cold, but didn't start it that day, perhaps some gasoline got in there and the valve got stuck (it was a a cold winter morning).
