Haven't been in here for a while had a family tragedy that I'm still coming to terms with.
Anyway my 93 960 has sat for around 12 months waiting for me to get the motivation to tackle the rear main seal. I did find a blow by blow description on how to do this, but now can't find it, it not the rear cam seal.
Also prior to this time I got a front O2 sensor code a couple of times and notice my fuel economy was down, but haven't had that code for a while, I change an O2 sensor some time ago, Is there 2 of them suckers. As there is no code now could it have been some shitty fuel, or similar and can they come good.
I have noticed the exhaust has smelled different/
Also while I'm at it, is it possible, feasible and has it even been done where a conversion has been done from OBD1 to OBD 2?
93 960 rear main seal, O2 sensor, OBD conversion.

1. have you ever done this job on any rear wheel drive car before?
2. do you have a lift or access to one?
3. do you have help if you need it?
4 do you have tools, cribbing and or big jackstands, etc etc?
Examine exhaust system...front O2 sensor...Is there 2 of them suckers
Not that I'm aware of, but here is a converted Swedish volvo 960conversion has been done from OBD1 to OBD 2?
Well that was as about as helpful and a pocket in a singlet.
Yes I've had the gearbox out and did the flex plate on my sprinter van flying blind.
So I was looking for chronological advise on how to tactical the 960 expecting that gear box removal may be similar but unique to different vehicles.
As my O2 sensor is not giving any codes atm was curious if some crap make them play up without actually being dead.
Cheers
