I just pulled my headliner board out of the car. Special shout out to Robert " rspi " for the awesome DIY video. I took MVS advice and went to joaan fabrics and bought 4 yards of suede black @ $11.99/yard

Can anyone send me a photo of a good tool to use to remove glue ?

I used a plastic scraper to remove the deteriorated foam, and then rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle to clean it up. I also used Bestine, which can be had at an art supply. It is not cheap, but is designed to remove glue, primarily rubber cement, but works on other kinds too.

I just use a stiff plastic brush to remove what doesn't pull off. Have never used anything to make extra efforts to get any glue off.

Some suggest sound proofing the roof before i re-install the headliner. Do you agree? If so where can i get material from ?

No way. The car is not that noisy. Then who wants to add more weight to a car?

I used that. You can order the plastic ring around the sunroof from the dealer.

LOL, That dark head liner would likely put me straight to sleep. Did that material come in headliner type? With the foam attached.
