2002 V70 AWD Transmission Type
A 2002 AWD, would it have the 4 speed or 5 speed auto tranny? I'm sure FWD is the 5 speed but sort of think I saw someplace that the AWD's stuck with the 4 speed for a little longer.

All 2001s & 2002s run the five speed AW55-50SN whether FWD or AWD.
The 2000 MY was interesting because we had 5 speed non turbos in FWD and 5speed V70Rs in AWD.
The V70 XC was a 4 speed and all other LPTs and T5s were also 4 speeds.
Once the P2 body arrived they left the 4 speed behind.
