VIDA DICE

Hey All,

Not sure if I got this in the right part of the forum, but here goes. I just got from ebay (China version) VIDA DICE 2013D. It says it works on Windows 7 PRO which I do have. I have all other requirements.

When I install it, it says VIDA NOT OK and I can't use it. It looks like it's not installing the database because when I go into the log file, it says database not found. Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong? Do I need to find a machine with XP?

Is there anything else needed on Windows 7 to run this software that I don't have?

Most recent VIDA will work on XP pro or Win7 pro 64 bit.

I've looked all over the net and can't seem to solve the issue I'm having with it. I'm using Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

Installed as per instructions. Messages reads VIDA NOT OK. When I look at the log, it fails when it seems to be installing the database. Any ideas?

my "guess" - you installed it by clicking on the setup and not opening the cd, reading the "read me" file which would tell you what to do next. remember that it is most likely a "hacked" version and you need some additional steps to make Vida happy.

Are you installing on "C" drive? Vida won't install on any other drive.

Has Net Framework 4.0 installed in the Installed Programs list?

try this:

1. please try make install "as administer"
2. the windows 7 should have no "modify" whatever 32bit or 64bit. I have success on both PC.
3. I meet problem with system permission of OS. so, I reinstall windows 7.
