S70 died on highway

Hi all, hoping for some quick feedback on this one. T5 S70 just died on the highway and will not start again. She coughed once or twice before dying. Tried another fuel pump relay, have fuel to the rail, checked that the timing belt was in one piece, out checking for spark now. Any other suggestions?

Scan for pending codes. Cam or crank sensor can cause a sudden loss of spark. If the fuel pump is functioning check for spark and fuel injector pulse.

Update: have spark and fuel as confirmed by testing fuel at the rail and pulling a spark plug. No pending codes (just scanned). How do i check for injector pulse?

If you are getting fuel on the spark plugs it is probably fine. Check timing, align it.

Timing looks good but I am going to pull the wheel and check it anyways. She has just over 165k km and has been running like a champ up until now

Timing marks line up, no problem with massive air leaks. Do you know what the 101/102 relay is for? Or the two "J" relays in the main fuse box? It really feels like an electrical problem to me.

What year is the car? If it is a '98 you need to verify that the idle air control valve is buzzing when you put the key in position II. If it isn't buzzing then you might have a problem with the master fuel system relay and the injectors won't fire. The '99 and '00 models don't have the IAC valve since that is done with the ETM.
