1998 S90 How too replace headlamp switch
Three days ago, my headlamps did not illuminate when I turned the switch on. I checked all the fuses and they were fine. I bought the headlamp switch from my local Volvo parts dept. I asked a tech. how to remove and replace the switch. Was told to just pull the switch off with a pair of pliers and disconnect the wiring. Reverse for install. What I see is a trim panel covering the edges of the switch. Can anyone give me the proper procedure? Photos would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

1. There was a recall on the 98 headlight switch.toddio wrote:Can anyone give me the proper procedure?
2. SHOULD just pop out, like on the 850s...Easiest approach is to drop the lower cover on the driver's side (three screws and careful about the connection to the light next to the door) and then reach up into the dash and push out the switch. New one just pushes in and locks into place.
