Hi, I know there are a ton of threads on the replacement of interior lights.
I am going the manual way of replacing the bulbs since I have so many to replace. I have bought some of the 272-1092 from radio shack, but their stock can't keep up with me.
Can anyone anyone confirm if these will suffice? it's a solid price. an old thread had a link where Ozark Lee got 10 packs but the link was no longer valid. The only thing that looks like it may be different is the 3mm?

Looks good. I recently bought them from Mouser electronics, I also got radio lights there.
Part number there is 560-7219

Radio bulbs are 560-CNW123

wow, good thing I asked, I was about to order a bunch to do the radio bulbs. so the slightly longer bulbs won't work in the radio? Or did you just find a ridiculous price on the new wedges?
I suppose you could just go with the 2nd link with the base for most interior lights in the cars?

Those radio bulbs are cheap, that's true, your suggestion may work well enough, I never tried it out. The 7219s are even cheaper and you can put them into the various sized ceramic bases in the dash, I guess that is why I have gone that route.
Only the dash interior lights use the 7219, for the record. Oh, you can also use them in a few places in the console.

Thanks to erikv, those lights at mouser are by far the best pricing I have found for the complete neo wedges.
So I have replaced several interior dash lights and my car is looking and running good (knock on wood).
I am not completely satisfied. For the dimmer switch and the info dial, it looks like the lower portion is not properly lit. Is there a way to dissect these switches for complete bulb overhaul, or should I just look for a replacement switch at the junk yard?
