1999 s70t5 heater core, random black piece?
Took the heater core out today, this random black piece of plastic was in the box. I think it could be from a vent above the core? Doesn't look like it has anything to do with the actual core. I did have a hard time getting the core out, wonder if I broke something or it was already in there? Any ideas?

I found a smaller piece of black plastic in my S70 heater box. The way these brittle dash attachment points are molded onto and integral with the upper vent system, any kind of detritus could be tumbling down in there.
